Plugged in and barking mad, The Dalmatians are taking rock back to its folk future!

The members have extensive experience, performing throughout Australia and internationally in rock, stage, folk, and world music ensembles; composing for film, TV and mixed media, as well as recording, mixing and production of music for themselves and other artists.

The lyrics centre on current social matters, often dripping with irony and suburban humour. The musical fun reflects a fresh take on several genres including indie pop, folk, and psych rock. Their first single “It’s Only Money” was released in 2019. After gigs were halted by the pandemic, the follow up single, “Millionaire”, was released to rave reviews, swaying the audience with the rockier edge that The Dalmatians bring to the stage. Their latest single “Far Away Man” is epic and ethereal. Focusing on the journey of a war veteran, it was released on Anzac Day in 2022. To date, the video has received more than 50 Best Music Video and Short Film awards from film festivals around the world, including the Cannes Art Film Awards, and film festivals in the US, UK, Italy, Spain, Australia, parts of Asia, and even the Ukraine.

The Dalmatians are currently working on their next release, a 5-track EP expected early 2024. Their music is available on all streaming platforms and merchandise available through this website and our social media platforms Facebook and Instagram.
